The MidOpt Bi405-52 is a Violet Interference Bandpass filter that can be useful for removing ambient light to image subjects illuminated by 405nm laser diodes. The 405nm wavelength is commonly used in Blu-ray applications, similar to blacklite filters. This filter is also used in fluorescence applications. All MidOpt filters can also be purchased unmounted or in custom dimensions upon request from Machine Vision Direct.
