Bi525-72 | Bi525 Light Green Interference Bandpass
Part: Bi525-72
Diameter: M72 x P0.75
The MidOpt Bi525-72 features a narrow passband, high peak transmission, and excellent out-of-band blocking. It succeeds and improves upon both Bi518 and Bi520 bandpass filters, particularly in blocking the near-infrared spectrum. Bi525 filters are typically used in applications employing 520nm green laser diodes or 520nm/525nm green LED light sources. The latter is typically used in machine vision inspection, while the former is commonly used in bioanalytical applications. Various popularly used fluorophores (e.g., GFP, GelStar, SYBER Green, etc.) have emission maximas at or very near 525nm, and Bi525 filters can be used to effectively block excitation sources as well as other interfering longer and shorter wavelength light while letting desired green emission wavelengths pass. All MidOpt filters can also be purchased unmounted or in custom dimensions upon request from Machine Vision Direct.
