PA385-990x600 | PA385 Ultra-High Contrast Cell Cast Acrylic Linear Polarizer

The MidOpt PA385-990x600 These highly economical hard-coated polarizers offer excellent extinction of glare and greatly increased durability compared to polarizing films. They are laminated to a single piece of cell-cast acrylic and are intended for applications where an external surface must be exposed to potentially harsh conditions, while the internal surface is naturally situated in a protected environment. Appropriate examples include lighting applications, rotating polarizers threaded onto the front of lenses, and polarizers that are mounted in camera enclosures. Cell cast acrylic is isotropic, harder, more chemical resistant, and more pliable compared to extruded acrylic. PA385 sheet material is routinely laser cut to any desired custom shape, size and mounting configuration. These polarizers utilize our HT008 polarizing film and are offered in 1.7mm and 2.2mm thicknesses.
